Officially launched on the 7th of May 2014 as a natural extension of Clean Sky, Clean Sky 2 will enable to bring technologies aiming at providing 20 to 30% reduction in CO2, NOX and noise with respect to the current state of the art, thus meeting society’s needs and increasing the competitiveness of the European aeronautical industry and its supply chain at the horizon 2025.

Clean Sky 2 will deliver breakthrough technologies through large scale demonstrators and will contribute to reduce time-to-market of next generation innovative aircraft.
After the first call for Core Partners (who will become Members of the Joint Undertaking), launched on July 9th, a Call for Partners targeting in particular small and medium enterprises, as well as public and private research organizations, has been launched on December, 16th 2014.

In order to inform potential partners and stimulate their candidature, a Clean Sky 2 Info-Day will be held in Paris on Febuary, 3rd 2015. The event is organized by Clean Sky JU together with the ASTech Aerospace Cluster and the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers.

General information (rules of participation, legal and administrative aspects, etc.) will be discussed in the morning, while technical aspects will be treated in the afternoon with the participation of high-level representatives of major Clean Sky 2 Industrial Leaders.
